Professionally Planned Whitetail Hunts
Bear Trail Lodge is located in some of the best whitetail country anywhere
in Northwestern Ontario. The areas where we hunt have strong and flourishing
deer herds. Every year, this area produces many trophy deer, including
several of world class caliber.
We hunt mostly private land that is strictly managed, however, we do have access
to an abundance of crown land with very low hunting pressure, if any. Essentially,
we go where the deer go. We harvest only mature whitetail bucks and take limited
numbers of hunters each year to insure quality hunts. In part, we ask for serious
deer hunters only.
Our guides are dedicated hunters that know what it takes to get up close and
personal to these trophies. Our guides scout all year long, patterning bucks,
placing stands and blinds well before our hunters' arrival. Being dedicated hunters
ourselves, we know how crucial that stand placement is. We try our best to position
our stands to be "up close and personal", so that bow and gun hunters,
alike, have the extreme advantage. This is not a guaranteed hunt, by far, but
for those hunters who take hunting seriously, the opportunity is certainly there.
All of our hunts begin with your arrival on Sunday, hunting days being Monday
through Friday, and departure on Saturday. We traditionally hunt all day, however,
we can cater to your individual hunting preferences.
5 Day Rifle Hunt:
--includes lodging - $1550.00 per hunter/per week

--includes lodging - $1000.00 per hunter/per week

5 Day Black Powder Hunt
--Includes lodging - $1350.00 per hunter/per week

We recommend booking your hunt as soon as possible, as they sell out early every
year. Upon verbal reservation, $300.00 deposit per person is due within 7 days
of reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. If you
have any changes or configurations to your party's size, we ask that you let
us know as soon as possible. All deposits are non-refundable. Bear Trail Lodge
reserves the right to terminate reservations due to any changes or regulations
by the MNR. In that case, deposits will be refunded. All prices are quoted in
US Funds. Does not include tag, export permit or taxes.
